5 Lessons Learned From One Year of Being Self-Employed
Mar 1st, 2022
Last week was my one-year QUIT-A-VERSARY! It's been one whole year since I've left my toxic, full-time L&D role to focus solely on The Overnight Trainer! π
In this last year, I have learned new lessons every single day, but there are FIVE lessons that really hit me the hardest:
1οΈβ£ It takes time to mentally transition out of a toxic work environment
2οΈβ£ Setting time boundaries help keep me accountable to myself and others
3οΈβ£ Not everyone will support you, especially in the beginning
4οΈβ£ You can have confidence in your mission, and still feel like an imposter
5οΈβ£ Life is for living and our time on this planet is finite
In today's episode I touch on each of these 5 lessons, and how they have shaped me not only as an entrepreneur, but as a human being this last year. β€οΈΒ
And don't forget, I'm still offering my Nail Your Niche course at 50% off (only $99) until 3/4 with all proceeds going to:
πΊπ¦ Nova Ukraine: Providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable groups and individuals in Ukraine.
π³οΈββ§οΈ Transgender Education Network of Texas: Dedicated to furthering gender diverse equality in Texas.
π³οΈβπ Equality Florida: Dedicated to securing full equality for Florida's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community.
